There is all type of opinions for and against the new Massey tunnel or a bridge.
Please help me understand why we are spending billions building new tunnels, as during rush hour we will have the same amount of lanes three as we have now?
If the tunnels are approved by environmental authorities, it is still going to take another five years to build them?
The rush hour, plus traffic is busy now, so can you imagine in 10 years from now. How long are the tunnels expected to last… 60 to 80 years? By then probably triple the amount of traffic. There is no long-term planning going on here.
The NDP needs to shake their heads on this project.
