Re: Deas Island Traffic Services/Massey Tunnel
The George Massey Tunnel continues to be a seriously congested route whether you are travelling north or southbound almost any time of the day.
My concerns relate to the use of the outside (left) lane by truckers and oversized rigs in continued violations of the law.
One only has to look at the southbound lanes on the Richmond side to see both the volume of traffic and the hundreds of trucks waiting to pass.
The RCMP/Surrey traffic division oversees the tunnel, and I can state with confidence they have been absent from enforcing both HOV and truck infringements for an extended period.
Let’s see some action.
