The new 10-year tourism plan from Tourism Delta, endorsed by Delta council (Optimist, Oct. 31), may be missing an opportunity by not advocating for a 50-metre pool as part of the new Winskill redevelopment.
A 50-metre pool would put Tsawwassen on the map for national and international swim meets and Olympic trials and water polo events and thereby bring much tourism and business to the community.
