Letters: Metro Vancouver: too many pigs at the trough

How is the socialist claptrap allowed to exist in our so-called free market society?

The crime being committed here by Metro is two-fold.

First is the refusal to be honest about the amount of CO2 and GHGs they are already spewing into the atmosphere with the overpriced projects that will never earn a dime and, secondly, they are complicit with the good old boys ensuring there are only so many pigs allowed at the trough.

The idea of putting out a request for private financiers to pickup the tab in return for securing ownership rights to the treatment and reclaim of wastewater and/or CO2 for a profit is just simply forbidden to discuss.
