Editor:
I’ve been reading all the letters about the Delta Police spending $42,000 for a PR company to handle the fallout from the incident at police chief Dubord’s house on Centennial Beach.
What surprises me is that neither the city nor your readers have actually suggested that it should be the Dubord household that foots the bill for their mess.
The Dubord household caused this mess, they are the only ones benefitting from this expenditure because the money was spent solely to preserve the good name of the police chief and keep him in his job.
The people of Delta should not be paying this bill.
So step up police chief Dubord and pay the bill.
