SDSS Grad 2021 celebrations are back on!
Due to the recent changes in provincial health orders, the SDSS class of 2021 is now able to hold some smaller graduation celebrations. There will be up to five separate events over five days and each grad will be able to participate in the traditional red carpet walk and celebrate with friends over dinner in an outdoor location.
It has been a tough year for everyone, but the 2021 class has lost all of their Grade 12 social celebrations. Please help us congratulate this resilient group of students.
Holding separate events comes with additional costs, costs that many families may not be able to meet right now. We want to be sure that every grad is included, so, we are continuing our “Sponsor a Grad Campaign” and are also looking for donations of prizes that will help make this event memorable. Please go to our webpage https://www.sdssgrad2021.ca/ for information on the sponsor a grad program and email us at [email protected] if you are able to help with prizes (gift cards, electronics, etc.). All donations will be acknowledged on the website, at the event, and thank-you mention in the Optimist.
