The purpose of my letter is to acknowledge and thank the three young men who helped my 80-year-old friend who was visiting from Victoria.
On Aug. 24, she wandered down to the lobby of my building. She was very confused and frightened and unable to make her way back.
Fortunately, three young men were in the lobby and realized this lady was in trouble. They spent time trying to assist her and then decided to call police.
The Delta police officer was able to determine that it was me she was visiting and brought her to my suite and ensured she was safe. All ended well fortunately, but my friend wanted to pass along her gratitude to the three young men who were so kind and to the very understanding police officer.
