Suck it up, let's get on with it. Have you heard of competition?
When businesses compete, there is variety and competition. On the way to the ferry people will, in all probability, stop to see what Tsawwassen is all about.
Business will probably improve. New restaurants will open and it will all be positive.
The way it is now businesses do not want to open in Tsawwassen because they say no one shops here.
Kudos to Kim Baird for a great view of the future. We will have more shopping, more employment, theatres, etc. The possibilities are endless.
I, too, feel badly about the farmland, but it seems no one wants to farm any more.
