As a member (past) of the Ladner Sediment Group, and as a private citizen, I feel compelled to help conclude this matter by letting her constituents know how tirelessly Vicki Huntington worked to help obtain funding for the dredging project that is so important to our community.
She attended many meetings and, working at the grassroots and governmental levels as an independent MLA, was instrumental in getting the results needed.
This is how things actually get done.
It is unfortunate others have given the impression that riding in last minute on another's coattails is how results are achieved.
Myself and others behind the scenes know her efforts were critical to the successful outcomes of this project and she deserves the credit. Paul Siniak
