Delta Optimist polled 315 Optimist readers and asked the question: Do you think distracted driving is getting better or worse?
The poll ran from Oct. 20 to 27, 2023. Of the 315 votes, we can determine that 132 are from within the community. The full results are as follows:

Results are based on an online study of adult Optimist readers that are located in the South Delta area. The margin of error - which measures sample variability - is +/- 5.49 per cent, 19 times out of 20.
