Opinion poll: Housing affordability a big concern

Delta Optimist recently polled 236 Optimist readers and asked the question: For parents: Do you worry that it will be harder for your children to afford a home than it was for you?

The poll ran from Sept. 27 to Oct. 4. The full results are as follows:

YES 85.26 % local, 86.02 % total    
NO 14.74 % local, 13.98 % total    
  Local   Total

Results are based on an online study of adult Optimist readers. The margin of error - which measures sample variability - is +/- 6.35%, 19 times out of 20.

The Optimist uses a variety of techniques to capture data, detect and prevent fraudulent votes, detect and prevent robots, and filter out non-local and duplicate votes.
