After a COVID-19 pandemic pause, a September family farm tradition returned to Delta on Saturday, Sept. 10. Hosted by Delta Farmland & Wildlife Trust, in partnership with Westham Island Herb Farm, Day at the Farm is a family-friendly event that invites community members from around the region to learn and experience first-hand the challenges and rewards of growing quality food here in the Fraser River Delta. The day featured a number of events including a potato dig, poultry in motion where you will see how farmers raise chickens through a unique display featuring live birds, hay-wagon rides, food samples and live entertainment.Jim Kinnear
