Exploring Langley Township's urban-rural charm with RealTours

Langley Township is creating a mix of urban and rural living that's hard to find anywhere else.

RealTours host Stephen Tadgh visits Langley Township, where he dons a cowboy hat and visits his first stop at Loft Country Farms with Trent Sulz.

He then races Derek Fenton, vice-president of marketing and sales at Zenterra, around the track at Fast Track Indoor Karting while learning a bit more about Langley.

At Fort Langley, Amandeep Johal explains the Indigenous roots of the area and why Langley is the “birthplace of B.C.,” after which Stephen stops by local businesses, including Cranberries Naturally founded by Jasmine Marjanovich.

Next, Brigitte Seib, executive director of Fort Langley Community Hall, explains a bit more about the area’s past and how it continues to affect life today.

Derek then shows Stephen some of Zenterra’s developments, including Windsor, Mayfair and Camden in Willoughby to understand the urban developments that exist alongside Langley’s wide expanses.

At Backyard Vineyard, Stephen gets a taste of the Langley’s fresh produce and how homeseekers can support the Township’s rural amenities.

Back in Willoughby at the Commons display centre, Derek shows Stephen what homes Zenterra has planned for the future and the urban amenities available nearby.

Finally, Stephen heads to Kensington Prairie Farm to hear what it’s like to raise a family in a place with the unique blend of urban and rural that Langley Township offers, while farm manager Dee Milton reflects on what that blend means to current and new residents.
