Some Tsawwassen residents were without power during the lunch hour after an outage that took place just after noon, Monday.
A total of 3,070 customers are affected in the areas including Boundary Bay and Beach Grove, said BC Hydro’s power outage map.
An area on both sides of 56th Street near 12th and 16th avenues is also affected and power also appears out at Thrifty’s and Save On Foods, while a traffic light into the mall is also out.
Crews though were expected to be on scene by 1 p.m.
Delta police haven’t confirmed if the outage is related to a motor vehicle accident.
