The local classic car community is once again celebrating Canada Day with a classic car cruise.
As in year’s past, the day will begin at 8 a.m. at the A&W at Tsawwassen Commons with a ‘Cars and Coffee’ event until 9:45 a.m. where drivers will meet to speak about safety.
The cruise will feature Delta Police assisting with traffic control, which should help the cruise participants arrive at their specific locations at a more precise time.
The cruise this year will take part in and around Tsawwassen only, which allows for more promotion of the Sun Festival Car Show in August, as well, participants can get into more areas of Tsawwassen to be closer to the public near their homes.

1005 – Right onto 16th Ave. to 53A St., left onto 53A St to 12th Ave.
1010 –Belair and 53A to regroup
1012 – Cruise resumes, right turn onto 12th Ave. to English Bluff Road to regroup
1015 – Cruise resumes, right on English Bluff to Pacific Drive
Quick Left onto Pacific Drive to Wesley Dr.
1019 – Left onto Wesley Dr. to English Bluff Road
1020 - Right onto English Bluff Road
1021 – Left onto 8A Ave. to Gilchrist Dr.
1024 – Right onto Gilchrist Dr. to 6th Ave.
1025 – Right onto 6th Ave. to English Bluff Road
1027 – Left onto English Bluff Road to 1st Ave.
1030 – Left onto 1st Ave. to Diefenbaker Park/56th St.
1033 – pull to the side across from Diefenbaker Park to regroup
1038 – Cruise resumes – Left onto 56th St. to 4th Ave/Southlands Road
1039 – Right onto Southlands Road thru to 66A St.
1043 – proceed straight thru both traffic circles and onto 3rd Ave.
1044 – Right onto 66A St. to 1A Ave.
1045 – Left at the stop sign onto 1A Ave. to 67 A St.
1046 – pass 67th St., then left onto 67A St. to 3rd Ave.
1047 – at the stop sign, left onto 3rd Ave. to traffic circle
1049 – at the traffic circle, take the first exit onto Boundary Bay Road to Beach Grove Road
1052 – Right onto Beach Grove Road to 16th Ave.
1054 – at the stop sign, left onto 16th Ave. to 56th St.
1056 – at the stop light, right onto 56th St. to Baptist Church
1057 – at the 2nd or 3rd stop light, right into the Baptist Church parking lot
1100 – Cruise End – disband
