For the first time, the Art Wall at North Delta’s George Mackie Library features the work of a group rather than an individual artist.
The Artistic Sisterhood is a circle of women whose friendship spans more than 30 years. It was their passion for art that brought them together.
The Artistic Sisterhood push their boundaries by experimenting with different mediums. Whether it's acrylic, watercolour, ink, pencil, textile or photography, they have had fun learning. With support, encouragement, and inspiration, they have produced a unique collection of art.
Check out their paintings, drawings, calligraphy, weaving and photos (altered or not). There is even some Nalbinding, a nonknot looping that predates knitting and crochet. The exhibit runs until the end of February.
