The Wander Inn Café is welcoming in the Christmas season with The Season of Joy Christmas Show on Saturday, Nov. 23.

The concert will benefit the non-profit organization Freshwave Ministries and will feature Christine Magee n’ Friends, singing both traditional and festive songs as they perform solos and harmonious duets.

Magee is an award-winning singer, songwriter, arranger, pianist, plus a piano, vox, and guitar teacher. She has a long history of performing soul, jazz, blues and gospel and is thrilled to share the stage with Jarome Lochkrin, Julian Neufeld, Emily Neufeld, and the Lighthouse Ladies Choir.

Lochkrin is a local singer, songwriter, guitarist with eclectic tastes in music.

Neufeld is a local singer, songwriter, guitarist, guitar teacher, and Thespian, while Emily loves music and can sing everything from opera to pop. She has begun teaching voice under the tutelage of Magee.

The Lighthouse Ladies Choir, under the direction of Leah Gorecki and Shannon Elliot, was formed one year ago. This faith-based group of women come together weekly to sing and support each other in a fun, encouraging environment.

In addition to the festive music, there will a silent auction and one can purchase tasty treats from the concession table.

Pre-sale tickets are available until Nov. 22 at $20 for adults and $15 for seniors and teens.

Tickets can be purchased at Camille’s Boutique & Gallery in Ladner or at the door the night of the show for $25 for adults and $20 for seniors and teens.

The concert will be held at Lighthouse Church (5545 Ladner Trunk Road). Doors open at 6, concert at 7 p.m.
