Beautiful, colourful banners are once again flying across Delta.
City staff have been busy putting up the banners in the past few days. The banners represent the winning designs in Delta’s annual community banner contest.
This year’s winners include:
Delta Heritage category: Dorothy Jean Hobbs
Discover Delta category: Leanne Trepke
Emerging Artist category: Regina Lee
Aspiring Artist category: Samantha Neufeld
Honourable Mention: Priya Sharma.
“Congratulations to the winners of this year’s Community Banner Contest,” said Mayor George Harvie in a post on his Twitter feed. “The winning banners are being installed along key streetscapes in Delta for the community to enjoy these incredible designs created by local artists.”
