Freshwave Ministries is a South Delta based, non-profit organization.
Since 2010 Freshwave Ministries has been serving food, clothing and groceries to those in need in downtown Vancouver.
For the last two years, Freshwave volunteers have been helping the Anglican Church in Ladner with their monthly community meal.
Recently an agreement was made to have this community meal become a biweekly event with Freshwave hosting the meal every fourth Tuesday of the month and the Anglican Church hosting the meal on the second Tuesday. Anyone is welcome.
Freshwave is a charitable society that is entirely run by volunteers.
One of the main fundraisers of the year is the annual golf tournament. This year it will be an 18-hole golf tournament and supper on Sept. 19 at Mylora Golf Club in Richmond which is at 9911 Sidaway.
