COVID-19: Deltassist suspends most in-person services

Deltassist has suspended most in-person services, which includes drop in groups, community visits.

As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, Deltassist is wanting to ensure the well-being of its community.

As a result, they will have the following updates:

• Deltassist has suspended most in-person services, which includes drop in groups, community visits. They are moving to provide phone service only for the next two weeks.

• Deltassist will be providing group services via Zoom and individual services through a confidential online platform.

“As we are a human services agency, we will continue to provide essential services,” said Deltassist in its daily community update email. “We understand that these measures may seem extreme, but we are doing everything we can to slow down the spread of the virus and keep our community safe.

“At this time all other programs and services will continue to be provided. Deltassist is taking its direction from the B.C. Provincial Medical Health Officer.”
