Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation (DHCH Foundation) is pleased to announce that the 25th Anniversary “There’s No Place Like Home” Moonlight Gala taking place on Saturday, Nov. 2 at beautiful Tsawwassen Springs, is once again sold out.

All proceeds from this year’s event will be dedicated to the foundation’s ‘Coming Home’ capital campaign in support of the new Beedie Long Term Care Centre at the Delta Hospital Campus of Care.

“We are so thrilled to be celebrating our 25th Anniversary Gala this year which has cumulatively raised over $6.4 million for essential equipment and capital projects at the Delta Hospital Campus of Care. This has all been possible due to the generous individuals and businesses of our community,” said foundation board chair Andrew Jackson. “We extend our gratitude to all our 2024 sponsors and auction donors for their support, and to our Gala committee, led by co-chairs Sarah Gallop and Natalie Walker, for their dedicated efforts in creating a memorable evening.”

Hosted by emcee, James Cybulski, this year’s fundraiser is Wizard of Oz themed and will bring together more than 350 business, community, government, and medical leaders for an evening of community spirit, live and online auction excitement, fine dining, and unique entertainment.

At the event, DHCH Foundation will give special recognition to the Delta Hospital Auxiliary Society as this year’s recipient of the Moonlight Gala Tribute Award sponsored by Port of Vancouver.

“We are so honoured to celebrate our incredible hospital auxiliary this year,” added executive director Lisa Hoglund. “Through all their volunteers and countless hours, the Delta Hospital Auxiliary Society raises funds through their entrepreneurial efforts to ensure the most critical needs at the Delta Hospital campus are funded.”

DHCH Foundation is thrilled to have another sold out event and would like to invite the community to participate online by making a charitable donation or buying 50/50 tickets and raffle trip tickets (four-nights the Windy City of Chicago).

There will also be an exciting online auction with items such as tickets to see Taylor Swift in Vancouver and an exciting home renovation package.

The Moonlight Gala website will launch on Monday, Oct. 28, and remain open until Saturday, Nov. 2 at 9:15 p.m.
