Make and take home a simple wandering book, known also as an accordion book, during a Tsawwassen Library program next week.

The versatile book can be used as a mini scrapbook or even a compact travel journal. Add a favourite saying, a thought or a poem and display it as a piece of art.

Presenter Jo Yearsley, owner of Cottage Book Arts (www.bookarts.ca), makes many styles of books and paper crafts that she sells at the White Rock Farmer's Market and Christmas fairs.

Yearsley instructs and sells a variety of kits, decorative papers and book making supplies. She has taught at both the George Mackie Library and White Rock Library.

Make a Wandering Book is being held on Thursday, Nov. 29 from 7 to 8: 30 p.m.
