The Barnside Harvest Festival has announced additional Main Stage performers on Saturday, Sept. 14 during the three-day festival, including Billy Bob Thornton & The Boxmasters at 3 p.m.
The festival has released the full schedule of performances from Sept. 13 to 15 at Paterson Park in Ladner.
The Glorious Sons will perform at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Sam Roberts Band at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, and Loverboy at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Formed in 2007, The Boxmasters have recorded an impressive and diverse catalogue of music that touches on their love of a wide array of influences, but most importantly, the rock and roll of the 1960’s.
“We were thrilled with the community response to our 2024 lineup,” says John Donnelly, Festival Producer. “To bring world-renowned artists like Billy Bob Thornton & The Boxmasters to Ladner is truly going to elevate the Barnside festival experience. We invite all attendees to come early and stay late!”
Opening night (Sept. 13)
The festival will open at 4 p.m. on Sept. 13 and the Main Stage will feature an Indigenous Welcome from Tsawwassen First Nation on the Main Stage at 4:20 p.m. The Main Stage will also feature performances by Yukon Blonde at 4:30, Couch at 5:45, The Trews at 7, and The Glorious Sons.
The Market Stage will feature performances by Carsen Grey, Vox Rea, and XL The Band from 5:15 to 8:30.
The City of Delta’s Heritage Pavilion will showcase performances by local artists Justine Lynn, Generous Thieves and Blake Havard from 5:30 to 7:45.
McDonald’s Kid’s World will provide family entertainment by Matt Henry and Alison Acheson from 4 to 6:30 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 14
The festival will open at noon and the Main Stage will feature performances by Carsen Grey at 1 p.m., Fran Moran & The Nervous Wrecks at 2 p.m., Billy Bob Thornton & The Boxmasters at 3 p.m., TOQUE at 4:30 p.m., a Welcome Ceremony with Mayor George Harvie at 5:30 p.m., Doc Walker at 6 p.m., Sloan at 7:10 p.m., and Sam Roberts Band at 8:30 p.m.
The Market Stage will feature performances by The Loft, Bryce Malenstyn, Couch, Nickolaj, Spendo, and The Matinee from 1:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The City of Delta’s Heritage Pavilion will showcase performances by Matt Henry, Mike Battie, Delta Police Pipe Band, Emmett Martin Hatlelid, Bryce Malenstyn, and Lonesome Town Painters from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m.
McDonald’s Kid’s World will provide family entertainment with the Robin Reddy Show, Island Princess Song and Storytime, and Matt Henry from noon to 5:30 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 15
The festival will open at noon and the Main Stage will feature performances by DJ Larry Hennessy, All The King’s Men at 1 p.m., Ashleigh Ball at 2 p.m., JoJo Mason at 3 p.m., Odds at 4:30 p.m., Wide Mouth Mason at 6 p.m., and Loverboy at 7:30 p.m.
The Market Stage will feature the Southlands Tsawwassen Paw Pawls Picnic from noon to 4 p.m. featuring music by DJ Goodspin, Musical Mats, games and the Best Dressed Dog Contest.
Additional Market Stage performers include Freeborn Soul, Boomdaddy, and Sadé Awele from 4 to 7:30 p.m.
The City of Delta’s Heritage Pavilion will showcase performances by Rachael Chatoor, Bryce Malenstyn, Emmett Martin Hatlelid and Emmett Jerome from 1 to 4:30 p.m.
McDonald’s Kid’s World will provide family entertainment with the Robin Reddy Show, Island Princess Song and Storytime, and Alison Acheson from noon to 5:30 p.m.
