Learn something new this gardening season at Delta's free sustainable gardening workshops.
This is the sixth year of Delta's annual series of sustainable gardening workshops for residents. The workshops, which are free for Delta residents, provide expert advice on how to create healthy, beautiful and functional green spaces without impacting the environment. Topics include composting, perennial gardening and growing a chemical free lawn and garden. New this year, workshops will be held in Ladner as well as in North Delta on both weekend mornings and weekday evenings. The first workshop of the season, Home Grown: Organic Vegetable Gardening, starts on March 31. Spots are filling up fast.
