One might argue there’s dysfunction in every family. Then there’s the Todd family — a father who abandoned his alcoholic wife, a son who became a lonely workaholic and a daughter whose career thrived, but marriage failed, and you’ve got a recipe for conflict when they unite.Add to the mix the other woman and an escort hired to pose as the son’s fiancé and the laughs and drama come fast and furious.
Director Todd-Elliot Gates will be holding auditions for Drinking Alone on Monday, Feb. 10 and Tuesday, Feb. 11 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Tsawwassen Arts Centre. The cast includes two females (25 to 50) and two males (30 to 60).
Sidekick is also looking for production people. If interested, email [email protected].
All positions are strictly volunteer. Rehearsals will commence immediately after auditions. You must be a member in good standing to accept a role. Member cost is $10.
