Following a successful summer season, Sensea Immersive’s The Da Vinci Experience has announced additional ticket sales until early 2022.
In response to the ongoing high demand for tickets, the Da Vinci Experience has decided to remain staged at Tsawwassen Mills until Jan. 10 2022.
Hosted by Sensea Immersive, this production of Crossmedia Group from Florence, Italy, was previously staged internationally and is now accessible for the first time in North America. The experience features the genius of Leonardo Da Vinci through four distinct rooms, including a 360-degree immersive room, educational centre, and a virtual reality visit to Da Vinci’s Florence studio. Attendees can look forward to a visual and sensory experience unlike anything ever seen before, celebrating the life and work of the renowned artist, inventor, engineer, innovator, Leonardo da Vinci.
Guests from across the province and border will be welcomed to visit the experience, as well as B.C. students in grades 4 to 12. As part of a newly integrated curriculum, B.C. students will be eligible for lesson plans embedding British Columbia provincial learning outcomes from social studies, science, and health education. The Learning Resource Package will explore key concepts of DaVinci’s life, art, work, and discoveries that intersect the B.C. learning curriculum.
Produced under exclusive license by Crossmedia Group of Italy, this exhibition is curated by the director of the Leonardian Museum in Vinci, Italy, Roberta Barsanti, and features reproductions of his greatest works of art and replicas of his machines. It has been seen worldwide by more than three million visitors, with the Da Vinci Experience marking the group's first show in Canada or the U.S.
