South Delta music lovers will have two opportunities to experience the wonderful music of the Trinity Community Choir next weekend.

The choir presents Country Roads, Take me Home at St. David’s Anglican Church (1115 51A St. in Tsawwassen) on Friday, June 14 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10, available at the door.

Then on Sunday, June 16, the choir appears at a special Sunday @3 Concert Series performance at Ladner United Church (4960 48th Ave. in Ladner) at 3 p.m. Tickets are $10 (cash at the door).

From its beginnings as the church choir of Trinity Lutheran Church in Point Roberts, this vibrant group of singers has grown into a performance choir under the direction of Natasha Neufeld.

Since 2010, Trinity Community Choir has created a tradition of several concerts each year in Point Roberts and several performances in South Delta.

Choir members hail from Point Roberts, Tsawwassen, Ladner and Surrey.

The choir enjoys singing a wide repertoire.

Trinity Community Choir is distinguished by being an un-auditioned choir, meaning all who enjoy singing can join.

Practices are Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at St. David’s Anglican Church. The choir is always looking for new members, especially men, so if you enjoy a fun Thursday night out, come join them.

Another distinguishing feature of this choir is its choir director.

Neufeld studied music at the University of British Columbia and the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, Austria. This gifted conductor also served as Artistic Director of the Richmond Singers and brings a rich breadth of talent to Trinity Community Choir.
