Parks and Recreation

The City of Delta will be adding parks and recreation amenities during a busy 2020.

Four pickleball courts are under construction at Dennison Park in Tsawwassen, while there are eight pickleball and two tennis courts under construction at Chalmers Park in North Delta. Both projects will be complete by spring. In the 2020 budget, there are plans to fund four new pickleball courts at Cromie Park in Ladner as well as the full replacement of the tennis courts at Ladner’s Hawthorne Park. The design of the new track and field facility at North Delta Secondary is 90 per cent complete with tender set to go out in early 2020 and substantial completion by the fall of 2020.
