In collaboration with the Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation, along with the Surrey Food Bank, Mercy for Mankind will be hosting a virtual Run for Delta on Sunday.
The event is now in its third year and was launched to help give back to the two organizations. The Surrey Food Bank also serves North Delta families.
“As our community grows so does our needs. This is a small step towards facilitating these needs by enhancing current hospital fundraising efforts for new wings, extensions, equipment and brand new construction,” from the event website.
The Run For Delta is also run by volunteers from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association.
This year’s Run is virtual due to COVID-19 safety measures.
