Medical event led to fatal MVI, say Delta police

Delta police are releasing details into a fatal motor vehicle incident in North Delta over the weekend.

Delta police are releasing details into a fatal motor vehicle incident in North Delta over the weekend.

According to police, at approximately 12:55 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 13, the officers were called to the 11200-block of Kittson Parkway for a single-motor vehicle collision into the trees. 

“The preliminary investigation indicates the driver of the vehicle, which was travelling eastbound at the time, suffered from a medical event prior to going off the road where they were found deceased,” said DPD. “Weather was not a factor. Our condolences go out to the family.”
