March 29, 9000 Block 112th Street: Complainant reported the theft of the catalytic converter from their vehicle parked in carport at their home. Police attended and took photos of the damage to the vehicle. No CCTV footage available.
March 30, Public Safety Building, 11375 84th Avenue: Complainant reported that after transferring $250 to an unknown person for the purchase of a unicycle, the complainant was blocked from further contact, and the account for the seller was cancelled. The complainant was aware they would not get their money back and reported it to the police for information purposes. All accounts for the complainant were deactivated. The complainant was also provided information for safe online practices.
March 31, 11800 Block 80th Avenue: Complainant reported that while parked in a parkade, the driver’s side window of their vehicle had been broken, and their wallet containing debit and credit cards stolen. No suspects, witnesses, or video surveillance.
March 31, 8800 Block 115th Street: Complainant reported the theft of the catalytic converter from their vehicle parked on the street in front of their home. The vehicle was towed to a repair shop. No prints available. CCTV canvass proved negative. The complainant was advised to contact ICBC.
March 31, 11800 Block 80th Avenue: Complainant reported the theft of their driver’s license and Visa card from the console of their unlocked vehicle parked in a secure underground lot. The complainant reported six charges of approximately $600 incurred and was advised to contact Surrey RCMP due to the location of the charges. No damage to vehicle.
April 1, 11900 Block Clark Drive: Complainant reported the break and enter and theft of items from a residence under construction. The fence around the complainant’s residence was open and the lock and key were missing upon workers’ arrival. French doors were wide open and was likely the point of entry/exit. Items stolen from inside the residence were a compressor, table saw, chop saw and air nail gun, with an approximate value of $4,700. CCTV canvas conducted for identification of suspects.
