A packed Delta Secondary gym on Wednesday night watched the host Pacers hold off the South Delta Sun Devils 68-66 in the annual Stebbings/Murray Cup senior boys basketball rivalry game named after the Delta Sports Hall of Fame coaches. The win also clinched second place for the Pacers (5-1) in Sur-Del AAA League while the Sun Devils (3-2) ended up third after prevailing in a three-way tiebreaker with Grandview and Salish. It means the two cross-town rivals will meet again in the league playoff sem-finals on Tuesday in North Delta at 8:15 p.m.Mark Booth
