Delta’s Community Resilience and Economic Recovery Support Team has launched a community campaign to inspire and ignite a movement around our love for Delta.
In recent months, many businesses have pivoted to stay afloat and others that were forced to close are beginning to reopen. The response to new health and safety protocols have many entering uncharted territory and require support from local residents to survive.
The We Love Delta campaign will help to stimulate economic recovery by encouraging Delta residents to come together, share their stories and most importantly, support Delta businesses.
With an imperative call to action to spend local dollars at Delta businesses, the campaign will foster community resilience and provide resources to the business community designed to facilitate connection and create economic impact.
The campaign will drive residents to www.welovedelta.ca for more information on how to engage with businesses and inspire new ways to explore Delta.
The site shares stories of businesses and residents making a difference, provides links to businesses that are open throughout the city and will share business resources and best practices.
Residents and businesses are encouraged to share via social media channels, by tagging @welovedeltabc on Instagram and Facebook and using #welovedelta to join the conversation.
Businesses will have access to the free We Love Delta Toolkit which includes logos, social frames and messages to add to their own social media channels and on their websites. Decals can also be ordered to put in your storefronts.
