In this newspaper last July I described an accident I was involved in while travelling in the George Massey Tunnel and suggested some improvements that could be made to improve visibility and safety in the tunnel.
Given the plans in place for the TFN malls, are any steps being taken to accommodate the increased tunnel traffic?
With the volume of traffic that can be expected, I am surprised there has been no discussion about twinning or upgrading this obsolete tunnel.
