From reading past letters to the editor, folks want Delta council to prohibit any change to farm or undeveloped lands, to restrict light pollution from greenhouses, and to support farms, not ports. Do folks not realize that farms (vegetable and animal) have odours? Supplying food can be very smelly.
Folks need to either make up their minds or to just admit they really want nice, big, bug-and pesticide-free, always green, power line-free, huge, pretty parks around their neighbourhoods. (Don't forget the noise from the mowers!)
Perhaps we should pay farmers and developers to replace their land with artificial grass. There are some great looking and maintenance-free options.
