Your editorial raises an interesting point. I believe that contract negotiations are underway between Delta and its unionized workers.
I would suggest the recent pay raises the mayor and councillors have given themselves will set the bar for the minimum wage increases the union members might find acceptable.
So much for the mayor and councillors setting an example of restraint in these uncertain economic times.
