EDITOR:
This photo was taken last Sunday when the tide was the lowest I have seen it at the Ferry Road boat ramp.
Several cars with boats and trailers showed up but were unable to launch because of a total lack of water - you could almost walk across to Deas Island Park.
You can see the tracks that other boats made in the silt when they bottomed out.
The boat ramp has become completely unusable for hours when the tide is out. When is Delta going to rectify this situation?
