I was very surprised to see that cancellation of right turns are being discussed with regards to pedestrian crossings.
It seems to me that left turns are the biggest problem.
I would suggest no moving vehicles while walk signs are on and that busy intersections also have all walk signs on at once, even diagonally across the centre before any traffic moves.
