Residents of Ladner north of Ladner Trunk Road please be aware how the proposed development near the boat launch, golf course and Captain's Cove Marina will affect you.
The proposed plan is for 737 units to be built on only 15.82 hectares (density is far too high), resulting in approximately 1,000 cars a day heading out of Ladner via 57th Street.
It is already difficult to get out of Ladner during rush hours and it is not unusual to have to wait through four lights at Trunk Road. Ultimately, this will also affect other traffic trying to exit Ladner. Most vehicles will also pass by Neilson Grove Elementary, which is a concern.
