Three storeys is high enough along Ladner waterfront

A revitalization of Ladner is welcomed, but four-storey buildings are definitely not in keeping with the heritage character of the neighbourhood.

For comparison, the thriving heritage community of Steveston restricts commercial building heights to three storeys (12 metres) and Fort Langley has height guidelines of two storeys (nine metres).

A reasonable compromise on building heights for Ladner Village would seem to be two-and-a-half to three storeys. Too much height along our waterfront is likely to destroy the charming heritage atmosphere and natural landscape we hope to preserve.
