The City of Delta has begun gathering public comments on a rental apartment building application for Ladner Trunk Road.
The rezoning and development variance proposal is for a six-storey purpose-built 78-unit rental residential complex at a vacant lot on 5737 Ladner Trunk Rd.
The project would include 40 residential, two visitor and five rideshare parking spaces.
Located next to a 7-Eleven, and near the intersection at 57 Street, the proposal would be consistent with the proposed new Official Community Plan (OCP), which received council’s preliminary approval following a public hearing this spring.
A public information meeting is still to be scheduled. Details will be provided once the date and location have been confirmed, the city notes.
