What do you get when you combine poetry, dance, visual art, and science along with three leading local writers and present it at a state-of-the-art theatre?

InkWellTold is the Delta Literary Arts Society’s (DLAS) newest literary event. This bi-monthly reading-in-conversation series, held at North Delta Centre for the Arts, launches on Saturday, March 26 at 7 p.m. Admission is free.

“This month’s topic is Writing Beyond the Page,” said Barbara Baydala, the host of March’s event. “We are excited to feature two writers who have extended their words beyond the two-dimensional page to include dance, song, and visual art.”

Guests for the inaugural InkWellTold event feature Celeste Nazeli Snowber — dancer, poet, and award-winning educator — as well as experimental writer Winston Le alongside photographs of botanical artist Katrina Vera Wong’s work.

“This is the most interactive and electrifying reading series around with the audience encouraged to ask questions and interact with the host and featured writers,” said Angela Rebrec, president of DLAS.
