Let’s take a little trip back to the October 1964 pages of the Optimist when a photo ran of Delta’s police headquarters in Ladner Village.
“Delta Municipal Police offices on Delta Street house the headquarters of the police as well as the magistrate’s court and jail. The building was modernized two years ago, and has an up-to-date handsome interior and exterior decor with plenty of black-topped parking space adjacent.”
The Delta Police Department was founded in 1888.
