With COVID-19 restrictions easing, live music is once again returning to the Ladner Legion.
The first band on stage this Friday (Feb. 25) and Saturday (Feb. 26) is Rhythm Street – a well-established Vancouver band, that love to entertain with a good variety of music from classic rock to country.
They hit the stage on Friday at 8:30 p.m. and Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
Masks are still required inside the Legion when patrons are moving from table to table and COVID-19 passports will be checked and verified at the door.
Legion president Al Ridgeway says Legion staff and patrons are thrilled that live music is back.
He said preparations are ongoing to get the Legion ready for the anticipated return of guests, adding that their heated patio will also be ready in addition to all their inside space.
In the works is the Red Hot Diggers featuring (Larry Thompson, Ray O’Toole, and Chris Volkaert, formerly of MRB) slated for March 4 and 5.
Further details on their performances are still being worked out.
