Delta police’s ‘Grey Ghost’ was out on the roads recently, patrolling for dangerous drivers and other hazards.
On Highway 91 northbound at the 6600 block, a driver was clocked at 143 km/h in a 90 km/h zone—leading to a seven-day impound and a $368 fine.
Later in the day, the Grey Ghost spotted a truck with a shredded tire at the 4200 block of Highway 17 northbound, posing an extreme danger. The vehicle was taken off the road until it could be safely repaired.
