The purpose of the Crime Beat is to educate and inform the public about some of the property crime trends occurring in North Delta and other files of interest. Sept. 4, 11900 Block 80th Avenue: Complainant reported the theft of a FedEx package valued at approximately $473 from their front door. Complainant confirmed with FedEx that the package was delivered. Possible CCTV to be obtained from the building and reviewed for identification.

Sept. 4, 11700 Block 92nd Avenue: Complainant called to report the theft of an Amazon package from the front door of the residence. Approximate value of items is $314. No witnesses or CCTV were available.

Sept. 5, 9100 Block 119A Street: Complainant reported the theft of their wallet containing personal ID/bank cards from their vehicle parked on the street in front of the residence. Complainant advised multiple charges had been made using the bank cards totaling $386. The bank cards have been cancelled, no damage to vehicle.

Sept. 5, 9200 Block Barnes Road: Complainant reported the theft of the catalytic converter from their vehicle while parked on the street in front of the residence. CCTV did not capture the theft; a report was initiated for file number and insurance purposes.

Sept. 6, 7100 Block 120th Street: Complainant reported a theft in progress from a local business. Unknown suspect described as black male, mid 20’s, wearing a black hat, black hoodie, and grey sweatpants, suspect was observed removing tags from clothing and exiting the business. Police attended and located the male with approximately $150 in stolen clothing which was returned to the store.
